VOCAL Edinburgh’s Time To Live Fund – To support activities that can be undertaken in the home, garden or close to where you live. Open to all carers living in Edinburgh, including parents caring for a disabled child and young carers. Priority for grants will be given to those parent carers who have not recently been awarded a Take a Break grant. Time for Me Small Grants Applicants must either live in East Lothian or live outside the area and care for someone who lives in East Lothian. Financial support to enable you to enjoy some time for yourself and have a break from your caring responsibilities.

VOCAL Midlothian’s Wee Breaks Fund – Available to carers who care for someone living in Midlothian and is designed to give unpaid carers a break from their caring role. Take a Break Scotland’s short breaks fund – Take a Break can accept applications from parent carers and eligible kinship carers, of disabled children and young people, aged 0 to 20 who have complex additional support needs. The deadline for applications is Monday 24th June 2024.

Your Opportunity (18 to 24 year olds) – Supports disabled and seriously ill young adults, aged 18 to 24 years old, living at home, offering grants for digital equipment, clubs and activities, transport and much more.
